We Buy and Sell Rare and Used Books

As an online store, we maintain a moderate inventory of scholarly non-fiction (history, biography, art, architecture, adventure, philosophy, etc.), literary fiction, antiquarian, rare and leather-bound books. We are not interested in general hardback stock, but in the rare, unusual and unique, including first editions and signed editions.

What We Pay: In general, we offer twenty-five per cent of what we think we can sell the book for in cash. We consider condition, content and demand in pricing our hardback books.

We will not buy:

1. Old textbooks
2. Library discards
3. Reader's Digest condensed books
4. Romance novels
5. Books with copious notes or highlighting
6. Water damaged or moldy books
7. Encyclopedias
8. General popular fiction, hardback or paperback

How to Sell: Call for an appointment. For large or particularly interesting collections, we are willing to travel throughout the United States. Please contact us to discuss your books.
